Numerology is the science of numbers. All energy vibrates and correlates with a number. Our date of birth has a numerical vibration and throughout life whether we know it or not we vibrate in resonance with that number. The name we were given at birth also has a vibration. For better or otherwise the birth number has a huge impact upon us.
Many people - and I am among this number - change their name. For a complex number of reasons I changed my name from Mary Carmel Conama (which vibrates at 3, giving freedom and boundless energy) to Jasmin Mary O'Hara (which vibrates at 4, bringing difficulty and struggle). I liked my new name and was resistant to change it back. Still I wondered why I had to work so hard to get ahead.
Following a recent course in Numerology I persuaded myself to look closely at my name. I had to admit it just wasn't working for me. Although I keep the name Jasmin (a 3), I will re-embrace my birth name Mary Conama
